Our first restaurant in Aberdeen opened in 1992. Due to our customers' loyalty and love of great food, Italian tradition, bountiful portions, and warm hospitality, our restaurants expanded into several different locations throughout Maryland.

The Olive Tree Italian Family Restaurant in Aberdeen is where it all begin in 1992. When it opened The Olive Tree at 1005 Beards Hill Road, it was a modest affair; 10 bar stools and 8 booths. Family owned and a far cry from a corporate like setting. But the restaurant quickly developed a reputation among its patrons for offering homemade authentic Italian food and expanded into two glass room additions and a full service lounge. Our menu embodies flavors from all over Italy to our regional love for great seafood dishes, such as our unforgettable Seafood Fettuccine and Famous Maryland Jumbo Lump Crabcakes. The response was phenomenal, and customers began to clamor for the family to expand the scope of their operations to include even more communities. Our other locations include The Olive Tree located in Glen Burnie and The Olive Branch in Pikesville. Today we continue our warm family tradition by offering our guests authentic regional Italian food from the freshest ingredients and our warm hospitality that will keep you and your family coming back for years to come.

I'm no food critic and i rarely review restaurants but I feel it's owed... I grew up in Aberdeen and recently went back to visit my grandmother! My favorite place when there was The Olive Tree and it is still here! I was so pleased to see they're still GREAT if not better! They now have the new pasta dishes and still have the ones I remember from my youth! My kids and husband loved it too. Unfortunately I dont live around the area anymore but it's truly a pleasure when we come and get to eat there!

This facility is one of the best in the area. I have eaten here several times, as well as at places in the area. The Olive Tree staff is quite cordial, and quite readily help you relax.The selections are varied, and all are well prepared. Their drinks are also prepared quite nicely. If you choose to eat here, I do not believe you will be at all disappointed.

The Olive Tree Restaurant is a very nice place to eat. They have Graduations dinner's at Graduation time, they have banquet meals for take out. Their food is EXCELLENT! This is one of my Top favorite places to eat. In the bar area which is separate or you may dine there also, they have happy hour and have some sort of food to eat...pizza. Their pizza is great. I would recommend this place to eat. World Class!

What a far cry from the corporate chain nonsense we're all used to... Nowadays we cant eat out as much but this place is great! Prices are awesome and you get at least two meals out of every portion plus as much salad and garlic breadsticks as you'd like! Staff is always attentive and pleasant! One of our FAVS.

Best Kept Secret for Crab Cakes
I know we all think we have to go to very specific restaurants in Baltimore Metro area, to get an incredible crab cake - But, if you ever had one of the Olive Tree's you would flip! Blows everyone elses away. All big lump crab meat. Hardly no stuffing. One is almost too much for one person. Plus their salad, rolls, and the sides you have to select from are the best. I have loads of high end favorites, such as Ruth Chris for my steaks... but, for crabcakes and an incredible meal for a reasonable price - Can't beat it!
